Monogatari is a Japanese anime TV series aired in three seasons. Monogatari anime TV series is an adaptation of a light novel series with the same title written by Nisio Isin. The second season of Monogatari anime TV series adaptation is written by Fuyashi To and Akiyuki Shinbo, directed by Akiyuki Shinbo and Tomoyuki Itamura, animated by Shaft studio.
The plot of this fantasy, paranormal anime TV series centres around a third-year high school student ‘ Koyomi Araragi’ who is also a survivor of a vampire attack. A mysterious middle-aged man ‘Meme Oshino’ who lives in a deserted building helps Koyomi Araragi to reverse his vampirism. One day, Koyomi saves his classmate ‘Hitagi Senjogahara’ while she falls down accidentally from stairs.

Even though Hitagi threatens him, Koyomi helps her and later he introduces Hitagi to Meme Oshino. Further, Hitagi becomes Koyomi’s girlfriend. As time passes Koyomi realizes himself assisting many girls including his own younger sisters Karen & Tsukihi affected by a variety of ghosts, spirits and other supernatural phenomena.
Koyomi assists these girls with the help of Meme Oshino who provides supernatural guidance to him. Monogatari series second season has a total of 28 episodes with no reported filler episodes.
